Yes, most Drs. will prescribe Femara. There are many many medications that are prescribed in an off label way. This just happens to be one of them. I replied in the other thread but will post here for you too. I tried 12 cycles of Clomid. I ovulated on every cycle but did so really late in my cycles. The later you ovulate the poorer your egg quality is. On my 12th cycle of Clomid 250mg I conceived and had a miscarriage. I was so over Clomid it wasnt funny. I then switched Drs. and my RE tried Femara next. I took 2.5mg cycle days 3-7 just like the Clomid. I ovulated on Femara and it was at a normal time in my cycle. On my third cycle of Femara I conceived twins who are now 2! Dont give up, there are lots of options out there. Bumping the Clomid up a little might be the trick for you! Seemed that the follistim and pregnancy corrected me somewhat since we have baby 2 without any help.

Updates from me: I let everything go when I went on my cruise. I was traveling with family and friends and just wanted to have a good time. Forget all the fertility diet stuff. I ate whatever I wanted, in quantity no less as you can imagine. I was post ovulation when I went and even had wine with dinner a few times because at this point in my journey, I feel like thats the least of my problems. This always happens when I get back from a vacation, but I got a little symptoms if you will. I went from the hot and sunny Carribean to cold and rainy Boston. Then, on Monday AF arrives.:furious: I dont know what happened to me but all of a sudden I got really negative and started to wonder what the hell the use is of having faith and being positive when Ive been doing this for so long and trying so damn hard. I could look at myself in the dream and I was looking at my tummy and I was so completely thrilled and satisfied thinking that I was finally pregnant. The only thing was, I was telling people on the bus that I was just finding out that I was pregnant and that I must have either woken up out of a long sleep or somehow lost my memory for the last 3 months.:dunno: Totally weird, but that was the sign I needed to get back up and tell myself that I need to stay positive and to keep my eyes on the prize. Could be either/or. I did clomid last month cds 5-9, ovulated on cd 15, and AF came on cd31. I normally have 28 day cycles. At this point you could be PG or it could just be the clomid.
